Head instructor Cliff Wiens figured the trio of Moose Jaw Judo Club competitors would fair well at a tournament in Brandon on the weekend and he was right.

The three competitors - Ken Blandford, Levor Guenther and Steve Hansen - each brought home medals from the tournament.

Blandford struck gold in the 86-kilogram Senior Novice event, Guenther won a silver in the 78-kg Senior Novice and Steve Hansen won silver in the 78-kg Senior Advanced event.
